We've carried other notices related to ransomware attacks on Security eNews before. Without a doubt this is a troubling time for businesses across the world. I'd like to say the bigger the more at risk a company is. I am sure that in due time developers will create an Artificial Intelligent (AI)-based software that will aggressively go after any presumed attack on someone's computer. It's possible that this itself will become a source of undo problems, at least for awhile  until it's perfected in identifying "friends" from "foes." --Al Colombo
