For those who have hesitated in years past to incorporate a hold-up alarm, there's no time like the present. Look to your local authorities for crime statistics because it's rare that the federal authorities and subsequently the news media have the true numbers.

Hold-up alarms can be purchased that rely on running wires, or there are wireless systems that do not require all the muss and fuss. If you have a burglar alarm system in place now, contact your alarm company to inquire about upgrading the existing system to include hold-up alarms. If you do not have an existing alarm system, perhaps now's the time to install both alarm and hold-up alarms. Need more information, send an email to al_colombo@hotmail.com.
