Here's the actual press release: ATLANTA—Georgia State University has launched a new graduate certificate program in Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence (AI) Systems, designed to prepare working professionals to advance their careers in this new and fast-growing field.

The fully online certificate program combines AI and machine learning with cybersecurity and privacy, which are among the most in-demand subfields of computer science.

“While there are many certificates in AI/machine learning and in cybersecurity separately, there’s currently no program in trustworthy AI to the best of our knowledge,” said Daniel Takabi, program director, associate professor of computer science and founding director of the Center for Information Security and Privacy: Interdisciplinary Research and Education (INSPIRE).

The complex nature of AI systems creates important challenges, such as safety, security, privacy, fairness and ethics, that must be addressed to ensure their trustworthiness which, in turn, will help accelerate their adoption for economic growth and future innovations, Takabi said.

Courses in the certificate program will cover topics such as robustness, reliability, security, privacy, fairness, accountability, transparency and ethics in AI systems. Students will gain knowledge and skills in trustworthy development, testing and deployment of AI systems.

Georgia State offers bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. programs in computer science, data science and related topics.

The certificate program can be completed in as little as 21 weeks, with all required courses offered online.

“Georgia State is uniquely positioned to offer this program given the expertise of our faculty in this area,” Takabi said. “The innovative curriculum is developed by several faculty whose work in trustworthy AI has been supported by the National Science Foundation, Department of Defense and Microsoft, among others.”

Alison provides free Online courses.

You can purchase a certificate if you pass the final examination. This is not merely a certificate of attendance, but you must know the subject matter by taking a difficult test.

#Tech Installation Tips for Common #AV Verticals | #TpromoCom #AudioVideo | While every job is different, there are definitely some specific quirks to common systems integration vertical markets which separate them from other jobs. You wouldn’t expect to run into the same problems for, say, an LED video wall installation as you would for a projection mapping job (commercialintegrator). https://bit.ly/3dxNNQe

Each vertical industry is just a little different and may require integrators to consider specific factors when planning their next install. So we thought we’d put together this guide to some common AV installation types — for the benefit of both seasoned installation professionals and their newer coworkers alike.

This is a downloadable guide from Commercial Integrator magazine that installers won't want to miss. To download it:

How the Best Hackers Learn Their Craft

This is a webinar by David Brumley, CEO, ForAllSecure, conducted in 2018. Yes, it's two years old, but it's a great beginning for those of us who know very little about hacking or hackers:
Do you want to know how to build a top-ranked competitive hacking team? It's all about the system. In sports, we understand systems that coaches can use to build a system for identifying talent, recruiting them, training them up, and competing in big games. Learn our proven system for building an elite team of hackers that win DEFCON. It's surprisingly easy, but not what you'd think.
